Let me just tell y’all that guns have always scared me. Being a woman in today’s society, I deemed it necessary to not only own a firearm, but to also have the proper training so that I can feel both safe and secure if I ever have to use it. That being said, I reached out to Jillian. I love to support small businesses but small business owned by women even more so. Jillian is extremely professional. We talked safety and rules before we ever walked into the range. It was important to her that she knew my comfort level and what my end goal was. She was extremely professional. Initially, she made sure that I had all of the proper safety equipment…ear plugs, ear muffs and safety goggles. She showed me how to properly load my pistol as well as how to properly hold, aim and shoot. She coached me through my anxiety and stayed calm at all times. And, I didn’t feel rushed. She was extremely patient and actually told me to take my time, take a deep breath, relax and then shoot. I could tell that she is a firearms advocate, but also extremely passionate about teaching others how to safely own and use a firearm.
